If You want to get the best

The coffee is incredible. People are sitting around the tables, sometimes the studio of GBH is working. The beautiful Boston Public Library is my favorite place to be. I love to sit here, write, research, having coffee. I get up, outside on Boylston Street: Homeless people, lots of pidgeons, buses. I love to wander through towns. Left hand, around a mile away, is the oldest combined firehouse and police station, It was constructed in the 19th century! The oldest Subway in the USA guides under the sidewalk outside of the BPL.
The other way, right hand: The Boston Common isn’t far away, it is the oldest park in the USA (founded in 1634) and tells story’s of 350 years. Traffic jam is mixed with a nice sunset. A homeless man slept in the entrance of a house on the Tremont street. Tourists are flooding the historic places, pedestrians avoid a construction site, people go out and get their lunch out of shops. The South Station is the biggest construction site in Boston downtown. I take the stairs down to the Red Line: „This train goes to – pause – ASHMONT!“
I love to be here. Boston is a fresh, alive, nice city. So much history, so many contrasts, endless story’s. The poor people in Dorchester. The incredible PCC-Line from Ashmont to Mattapan. New stories reveal themselves if you just do a little research: Streetcar tracks existed in almost every street – around 110 years ago. The Triple Decker – a three story living house -were built alongside to house thousands of people, coming to Boston.

Regarding story’s: It is my profession to tell them. I love it, if people read them, saying: This is exactly, how we were talking. I love, to open ever again the flow of a nice talk with ideas, knowledge and experiences. If it is necessary to fight for people, I do that without any fear.
I am available. To work in Boston. To create journalistic story’s about this incredible town. I’ve been there several times. Some of my friends live there. Perhaps most importantly, I have left a few times in my time as a journalist and started from scratch in a new place – also in a new country.
